So whats the deal this year are they in or out?
My personal opinion - I never minded SC's, in fact I actually liked them. The new books seemed to be heading in the right direction creating balanced ones. Although I definately submit that the VC and Daemon ones are completely unbalanced. I think players should not be allowed to field them this year.
Or in the alterantive (which might prove interesting) is to allow only Hero level SC's which for some reason always are much more toned down.

Since my list doesn't include any, I vote against!

From the front page where the rules are:
"Special/named characters from the army books will be allowed. "

I am all for them... the first round should bone 50% of the armies with the broke ass characters, since they will end up playing eachother and the other 50% lose to balanced armies that dont need the crutch.

Hero level SC's which for some reason always are much more toned down. Like Epidemius? SC's are in. I can't wait to see Helebron to put down a Stank in one turn.

Special characters are going to be allowed, however, taking some of the more game-changing characters will likely result in an appropriately hash comp score.

Ed, your mythical search for a way to get zero comp may have come to an end. Just add some SC's to your list.

Ed, your mythical search for a way to get zero comp may have come to an end. Just add some SC's to your list. For Crossroads I'm actually trying to get a reasonable comp score and softened up my empire to a good degree. It will still probably end up in the 'hard' category, but I doubt it'll be even close to being the hardest thing there. Then for baltimore it's back to two stanks.

The Brick wall will weaken, just keep banging your head against it This time for sure.
