Folks see down thread we will have an xwing tournament friday and maybe saturday night. Please put your real name in for sign up. Exact times and other details to be determined based on total number of attendees. Hey guys I'd like to arrange some xwing. I'd be happy to help put it together but wanted to see who was interested and in what. I had some general ideas 1 - Intro/demo games set up for folks who want to give it a try for hte first time 2 - a single ship free for all such as the Hunger Games type events for a general idea see: boardgamegeek.com/thread/1223194/hunger-x-wings-game 3- Some other special scenario driven event - Rebels attacking an imperial base or vice versa again allowing folks maybe 30-40 points so we can have a lot on the board 4- An actual mini tournament 5 -Free play time.
If you are interested let me know.

All of those sound great though my vote would be for a 100 point tournament that Friday or during the weekend as well. It would be great practice for the rest of the store championships that month and could hopefully soon be one of the major events alongside KoW, Malifaux and 9th.

Chris Tesorio and I are down for X-Wing. I'm not anything like ready to field a KoW army, 9th Age is for pooping on, and Malifaux holds zero attraction. 100 point X-Wing tourney sounds great.

I'm not anything like ready to field a KoW army Neither am I. But I'm not going to let that stop me! Painting isn't required and although I've only ever played one game, I know the rules pretty well.

Okay so I think we should shoot for an Xwing event in the evenings. Mini tournament Friday and maybe Saturday night depending on turn out. Lots of Twitter chat on this @khornelord if you want to get a sense but it mirrors the comments here. I know some folks suggested a Saturday and Sunday event (maybe standard and then epic?) but I don't think Corey wants four simultaneous tournaments running at once. It's not exactly a straight line relationship between number of sub events and increase in work, but even going to three events this year is a big jump in difficulty. However if someone really wants Saturday and Sunday Xwing you can email him to talk about it.
Also my buddy Matt is ready to run some blood bowl event maybe Saturday.

I'm going to start official sign up for XWING at crossroads. Details to be determined but I plan on between a 5-630 pm start time 60-75 min rounds 100 points. Price tag to be determined but plan $10 with Corey determining how much of that he keeps vs gets into the prize kitty. I will play if we've got a small number of folks or am happy to TO and not play if we've got a lot of bodies (unless someone more experienced in xwing decides to I'm a newcomer to the game.)
So put your name here - and if you have strong feeling on start time do it as well. 1. Gary No 2. David Haldenwang 3. Chris Tesorio 4. Tony Servello 5. Wade Kline
If anyone is interested in Blood Bowl you can let me know in this thread as well Matt may run that Saturday.

If this is on Friday, we'd prefer a later start time. Saturday or Sunday, we don't care.

Friday evening only at this time.
6pm start? 75 minute rounds if we have less then 6? 60 minute rounds if we have more then 6? Just thinking how late we want to go. I need to get Garcia's in to my friday night plans.
If folks have mats we are going to need them. I've got two.

Okay Stradox send me a real name via PM if you don't mind. I think you'll have to email Corey if you have questions. I just bought another mat this weekend but we could definitely use more mats if at all possible.
6pm start time - we now have 6 registered so three rounds I suspect.
Is Chris still making the trip I thought he wasn't coming?

Hey if you have been at Crossroads before you have talked to me. I am generally the only non Caucasian guy in the room.
I am a little limited in my ability to really grow the event of we are going to get bigger I am going to need more playmats then what I have. I will send you a PM to pass more info.

Okay talked to Corey over the weekend. He can help with time keeping. Assuming lets play can provide some mats I think we can grow to 16 people given when we are starting and the time needed (4 rounds for 16 = 5 hours + time for pairings and moving around so closer to 1130 or midnight for completion)
Midgetmerc I sent you a PM on this forum and haven't heard back I'll try to call the store directly (but I am not sure if I ask for 'midgetmerc' I will get you!)
Start at 6pm 75 minutes rounds 100 points Cap of 16 players. I do need additional mats as I've got 3 myself Lets Play will hopefully be providing. $10 entry some will go to Corey for hosting event and the rest as prize support.
