For anyone interested in participating in the doubles tournament, here is a quick rundown of the rules.
The event will be 2500 points per SIDE. Each player bring 1250 points.
We will NOT use the alliances rules from the rulebook. Each player will have their own general and BSB for their portion of the army. Magic pool dice are shared, and can be used by any spell caster from either side, regardless of where the dice was generated from.
No same armies teaming up, ie. no Skaven pairing up with Skaven.
Rounds 1 & 2 will be on Friday night, Round 1 starting around 6pm, round 2 starting around 9pm. Round 3 will be satruday night, and as matchups will be ready on friday night, I will leave it up to the opponents to negotiate a good time for them to complete their round 3 game.
I've gotten a few emails regarding participation, but if you are going to play, put your name in this thread along with your partner's name.
Thanks, Corey

As per the discussion in the other thread, are we still limited to no special characters as the only guideline?

I think I can keep up with Josh in the drinking department, plus I hear he's pretty good!

Too late old man....
Although I really don't care, Not completely feeling the doubles this year.
I was hoping to get some Kings of War games on Friday although no idea who would be up for that.
Could always just drink and make fun of all you jokers on Friday, instead of playing.

Why didn't you respond to the post on KOW...
Don't worry, the doubles games will probably last about 20 minutes.
I fully expect our opponents to give up by turn 2. ;D

Hey Corey, do the separate armies count as friendly to each other (IE can I cast buffs on my partner's units, do I take panic checks when one of his are destroyed etc...)
