Are you using Ogre Kingdoms rules? If so, I believe you have to take a unit of bulls for every gnoblar unit.... Hate to ruin your dreams...

Nonono.. it's the gnoblar hordes list written by Kevin Coleman--from white dwarf 301 or 304 or something. No ogres needed (or wanted!)

The best part about this army is when Nidal gets to tell people. "Yeah, you just got your smurf handed to you by smurfs!"

What happens when a unit panics....?
Also, how are you going to fit that in the deployment zone?

How does it fit in the deployment zone? BARELY!!!!! And gnoblars are "largely insignificant", meaning they don't cause panic in anyone, even other gnoblars. So fleeing through 18 units doesn't cause a single panic check (though it does tend to bounce you off the table quite a bit). If you play it, you'll find it's a big joke. With leadership 5, WS2, S2, and no armor, they're not doing much. But it's fun. And if you play like a fool and I get really really really really really lucky, I can win. So far, I've won one game out of 18 or so. Things are looking up.

12" x 72" deployment zone = ~17,008 square inches. 1000 20mm bases = ~15,748 square inches.
If it weren't for pesky factors like movement trays and terrain, he could fit 80 more gnoblars in there!

I use edgeless magnetic movement trays. So no space for those. Impassible terrain is a problem. But there's never enough to stop all my deployment. Sure, every woods on my side is full of ranked units... but so what? That's just to insure I always contest that piece of terrain! It's literally 3 rows of edge-to-edge fully ranked units. It's awesomeness to the extreme! Fear it, for if you lose to it, you and all your sons shall be mocked forever!!!!

I call a pickup game against this crapfest. If you lose, you must wear the traditional shirt. (yes, I'm making a new and improved version)

I'll take care of it. For the nominal fee of 1 beer from each Gnoboidian.
